Maids’ walking rugby group has been going over 2 years since The Princess of Wales first kicked it off.
We have 15-20 regular players and are always looking to welcome more players whatever their age or experience. With family members occasionally joining us we have had players from aged from 8 to 70+ taking part.
Walking Rugby is like touch rugby but players are meant to walk not run.

• Focused on teamwork, laughs, and community spirit.
A good way to meet new people and our Wednesday morning sessions are followed by refreshments and a chat in the clubhouse.
Then there is the Christmas party. Our one rule is ‘What happens at the Christmas party stays at the Christmas party’.
We meet on Wednesday mornings from 11:00 to 12:00
We play on the 3G pitch so studded boots are required. If you don’t have any, we may be able to lend you some for a taster session.
For non-MRFC members if you decide to join the annual cost is £50 which includes a car parking pass.
