If you would like to get involved in volunteering at Maidenhead Rugby Club there are a number of ways to make it happen.
Already a member or parent of a player? Simply get in touch with your Age Group manager or Kate Swinn (MRFC Volunteer Co-coordinator – [email protected]) to see how you can help out.
If you are new to rugby and are looking to get involved, contact Kate directly.
Everyone from the coaches, referees, team managers, committee etc are volunteers, so whether you’d like to help the club out occasionally, specifically support your child’s rugby or put your professional skills to good use, we would love to hear from you.
Without the time, energy and commitment of volunteers, rugby at Maidenhead and all clubs simply would not happen.

Claire Kinchen & Deb Dannatt |
Claire Kinchen – Claire went from being a keen parent last year to throwing herself right into the coaching team of the U14s girls with gusto. She led the pre-season fitness sessions for all girls age groups and has become an integral part of the coaching for the U14s. She attends every coaching learning session that the club holds in an effort to ‘level up’ her skills. She is an inspiration to any parent stood on the sidelines thinking ‘Mmm I could do that.’ Claire Kinchen is u14 girls new parent coach. She’s doing an amazing job of improving the girl’s fitness, supporting the other coaches and a brill role model for the girls. She also ran fitness sessions for the girls to get together over the summer. Deb – Her research, support and hard work made a huge difference to make the Halloween Fundraiser happen and be as successful as possible. Deb Dannatt, for becoming the de facto social secretary for the girls rugby teams and becoming so heavily involved with the organisation of the recent Halloween party. She brings the sort of fun and organisation skills that a club like ours thrives on. She definitely deserves recognition for this. |

Whether it’s organising session plans, or helping with admin tasks he consistently goves above and beyond. Chris Boddy continues to be a dedicated head coach that takes time out of his busy schedule for rugby and for being incredibly supportive with any issues that have arisen. |
