Hi and thanks for looking at MRFC for your child’s first experience or development of their rugby skills. The Under 13 age group is open to any boy or girl who is in Year 8 of school.
This is a great way to get your kids running around and having FUN with structured games that will keep them excited and develop their core rugby skills. It is about creating an environment where the children start to understand the key values that rugby provides – TEAMWORK, RESPECT, ENJOYMENT, DISCIPLINE, SPORTSMANSHIP. As a group of qualified volunteer coaches, we don’t promise miracles but we do promise absolute commitment to giving your kids a great experience.
You can find us in the grass area on the far side of the clubhouse beyond the play ground area. We may be out of sight but certainly not out of mind (or earshot) and train on Sundays from 10.00 – 12.00. We also partake in local festivals with other clubs so the kids have a chance to experience some tournaments against other teams. In the spirit of extending our rugby friendships we also have joint training sessions with other clubs both Home and Away. We look forward to you and your child coming to join us.
