Maidenhead Minis Tournament

Mini Tournament Sunday 11th October 2015

A Welcome from The Chairman

While doing my time as a minis coach, the Maidenhead tournament was always one of the highlights of the season, not only for the players but also the coaches, managers and parents.

It was a day to not only play some good, fun rugby but also a great opportunity to catch up with old acquaintances and meet new friends from clubs that were visiting us for the first time.

In this mad modern era of professional rugby, it is great to see such a mix of sizes and abilities playing the game they love for fun and, let's be honest, giving us parents a great excuse to socialise under a sporting banner. I truly hope you all have a great day.

A massive thank you must go to all the fixture secretaries from your clubs for arranging your visit and also to the Maidenhead Tournament Team for the great work that they put in each season to make our tournament so successful.

I must also thank all our sponsors for their generous support. I am sure that what you see today will make your support all the more worthwhile.

Good luck to all teams today.

I hope you play great rugby, enjoy yourselves and do our great sport proud.

And finally - Come on you Maids!!
